Big Game Sport Fishing was established in Snug Harbor, Rhode Island in 2008 by USCG licensed Captains Brian Bacon, Captain Peter Bacon and Shamus Mara.
Brian, Peter and Shamus have been fishing the Southern Rhode Island waters for the better part of their lives and have a combined experience of over 70 years fishing these waters. The Big Game crew has a true passion for the thrill of the hunt, love for the ocean and putting fish in the box!
WE CATCH:
All of the greatest Game fish that exist are caught in the Northeast Canyons! Tuna, Marlin, Dolphin, Wahoo, Swordfish, Sharks, etc. Our Offshore Trips can accommodate up to 6 anglers (See our “Rates & Options” page for details).
Daytime, afternoon and evening trips are available, including light tackle – live bait, Striped Bass Fishing, Blackfishing, Fluke and Sea Bass. As well as Offshore action for Tuna, Sharks and Cod!
We specialize in light tackle live bait fishing for Striped Bass. We target many species for offshore fishing including Tuna, Sharks, Marlin and Mahi Mahi. We target these species using a variety of different methods from live bait, jig and pop, chunking, trolling and deep dropping. Our Captains and Mates work hard to get our clients on fish and promise to deliver a world class fishing experience!
